Well this was my hell week at work. i had soooooo much to do. and in the middle of the week while in the midst of working my ass off and overextending myself i managed to crash everything in the building. Computers, phones, our Radio system, and servers. basically everything that is important enough to be on our backup power.

while installing all these new servers, i overloaded one of the phases on the UPS and Wham!.....silence..

working for a power company that needs contact with their customers and with their crews at all time, this was a very untimely mistake.

thankfully i was able to find a bypass switch and reroute past the UPS and get everything back online. and even more thankful nothing major broke.

I actually had no idea our UPS had three separate phases and never knew the electricians put everything in the server room on one phase (very idiotic). so now i have had electricians in to move breakers around to hopefully do a more even job of load balancing.

Moving over the Domain controller/file and print server, i thought was going to be the stressful part of my week but i guess not.
