I am out of here. Northern MN has never seen the likes of us. in small doses maybe but never all 6 of us. We are armed to the teeth with knives, machetes, axes, hatchets, and pistols. i dont know why but we are. So there is nothing quit like 6 assholes roaming the woods with weapons and no food, could be interesting.

Well this weekend was very interesting. I watched my daughter for most of it. Spent Saturday night a wedding dance with Moody and managed to begin my pack for our excursion into the wilderness. I'd like to finish packing tonight so i know what i need to get still and can get it tomorrow night. i think to food situation will be interesting. i doubt 6 guys are going to be prepared enough. we will all show up with beef jerky and granola bars and will have them eaten on day one. we should have brought a woman with just so we would be more organized, but i guess what fun would that have been.

I went from having a cell phone which was a simple as they came to now having the most complex and advance one they sold, The T-moblie Wing. Now i am officially a geek.

I have been in Iowa this week. the only thing i have to say about Iowa is that they grow very good corn and as far as the eye can see. Unless you are a farmer i dont know why you would live there. but to each their own.

Only three more weeks until my big canoe trip into the boundary waters. A million-acre wilderness with no house, or boats with motors anywhere. i am super excited for this. 5 days and 4 nights of the peaceful calm tranquility that is northern MN.

(until me and my jack ass friends show up)

Let me know what kind of music inspires you. For me it greatly depends on the mood i am in at the moment. A mainstay for me is Modest Mouse but lately i have been getting into The Cold War Kids. But on any giving day it may be Johnny Cash to Deftones.

Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox are probably the two most recognizable statue's in MN. It represents the northern Minnesota woods and lakes. And what better place to have them than in Bemidji MN. This is the start of the Mississippi river which lies in MN most popular state park, Itasca State park. Bemidji is home to over 400 lakes. It has a population of 12,500 and a nice collage.
