I have a small group of people who visit my blog on a regular basis. some of you are active in contributing to my blog (especially when i have misspelled or used improper grammar). some of you stop by and read but never post. and to all of you i am thankful that you stop by here to listen to me blog about nothing in particular. so i ask you, collectively, with all your combined wisdom. How do i get through this???

i am slowly coming to terms with mine. its that as growing up a big MN sports fan i am left with a whole lot of shit to cheer for. MN Twins a perennial mediocre baseball team who are loosing all of their good players. Timber Wolves (whom i am a very big fan of) traded their franchise player, have endured a couple of very poor seasons and now look to be a bottom dweller for years to come. and of course last but not least the Vikings (need i say more). so what am i to do?

Another week down. um....i got nothing.

I am frustrated with the in consistent play of the MN Vikings. With a young offense this is to be expected but as a fan its hard to wait and wait and wait.

I need to finish working on my yard. Leaves and splitting wood. its seems its all i every spend my free time doing any more.

My wife has been tough to be around lately (hormonal i think).

My daughter has been a blast to be with lately. She is talking more and understands so much.

I wished I would have fished more this summer.

A good friend might be coming down tonight. we'll play some cards and drink, should be fun.

The MN Wild has been ripping up the NHL. Here in the 'State of Hockey' its good to see our pro team betting the crap out of the rest of the league.

I am planning to go pheasant hunting this weekend for the first time. i am not a big hunter but i have always wanted to try bird hunting. so i will head over to North Dakota and shoot away. i will try not to shoot anyone in the face (ala Dick Cheney).

i have so much i need to get done this weekend and am still not close to 100%. i have 8 hrs worth of leaves to mow up. i need to take my dock out, drain my sprinklers, split 3 cords of wood, hall the wood and stack it. Moody is going to come over for a couple of hrs and help a little bit. that should help. i might be a little to ambitious this weekend but winter is a coming.

Well i am finally back to work. the next time i have two weeks off it better be in Hawaii not in the hospital. it actually feels good to be back.

Well this week i bought a large garage heater for my detached garage. so the last two days i have been wiring the 240v to the heater and to the panel. i am not much of an electrician but i was able to do it and not start any fires. this just furthers the comfort level of my man space. i hope everyone has a good weekend.

I am home after a six days in a hospital. it sucked. its humbling laying there in unbearable pain and the doctors have no idea whats wrong. but i am home now and getting better everyday. thanks for the nice comments.
