Plant a tree
Fight a bull
Write a novel
Father a son


At this point, i have Fathered a son and i have planted many trees. i am probably closer to fighting a bull than writing a novel. but we will see.

Well I survived another thanksgiving. i ate like a pig and loved it.

The vikings surprised me by beating the shit out of the giants. didn't expect that but was a blast to watch.

Well i show today at work and on the front door of the building Is a sign saying "Mike is 30 today and he Doesn't look it". i was pretty sure no one knew it was my Bday tomorrow but apparently i was wrong. well they put up signs all over the building. i walked into my office and it was plastered with streamers/banners. they also pulled quite a few pranks on my stuff too. its nice to know you are loved at work but to be honest its kind of embarrassing.

I hope everyone has a great thanks giving. (except Porky because their thanksgiving is like a 'harvest day' and is celebrated in the beginning of oct.)

Well somehow the holidays have snuck up on me. i do enjoy them but it seems like summer happened so fast and now we are a month away from Christmas. Well i hope everyone enjoys their short week. Canny probably doesn't even know what day it is.

The Timberwolves were great to watch last night. a young team with a lot of energy. its been a while since i have been excited to watch their games. again, they aren't going to win a lot of games this year but its a different style of basketball. Al Jefferson is going to be a superstar in the league.

Life's ups and downs are funny. you have a perceived path that you are on and you think you know it and you are pretty sure where you are heading but there are always unexpected twists.

there are many times in my life i have been in a rut or have gotten complacent and WHAM life catches up with you sometimes for the better but usually for the worst. but the funny thing about it, it always turns around. i have relative peace and calm in my life (even considering my hospital visit) at the moment so we will see what the future holds.

Back to sports purgatory for me.

The Darjeeling Limited

Has anyone seen the Darjeeling Limited? its another Wes Anderson movie (''The Royal Tenenbaums'', ''The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou'', and "Rushmore"). His quirky off beat comedies have a cult following but, are to much usually for the general 'cookie cutter' movie crowd. They embody a feeling and a moment created from his creative cinematography and perfectly placed music.

I haven't seen the film yet but its 1st on my to do list.

I think its safe to say that all 6 of you who read this blog wont give a shit. but the T-Wolves start their season tomorrow. with a young athletic team that should be fun to watch. they will be a bottom dweller this year but look for a couple of these 'kids' to make a name for themselves.
