Well Good morning, i hope everyone had a good weekend. i got to see an see a good friend over the weekend and do some fishing. i also got to hang out with Moody for a couple of hours on Sunday. it was a busy weekend but i got to see a lot of people and enjoy myself some. last night i stayed up way too late working on my tractor. very tired.

Well there has been something really bothering me since yesterday. my closest friend has a child hood friend that i know pretty well. i wouldn't considering this guy a close friend but we know each other and are just good acquaintances.

He has a 4 year old girl who is a special needs kid. and since she was born, do to the extra care she needs, he changed is life to take care of her. He quit working to be her care provider full time. it hadn't been easy but put in a challenging position people can rise to the occasion. this winter i had ran into him and he had talked about his daughter having had to be in the hospital quite a bit this winter from pneumonia and infections. well the stress had finally taken a toll on his marriage and he was in the process of getting a divorce. he was still staying home with his daughter and would find away to manage. well Wednesday she passed away very unexpectedly.

In the last 4 years had never once complained about how hard it was to take care of her and had never curse the fact she was born with complications. he never looked at it as anything other than a blessing for being giving such a beautiful daughter. he loved her and was grateful for her.

Now he is absolutely and utterly devastated. there isn't anything worse that could have happened to him and is, obviously, taking this hard. as her life slowly slipped away from her, his has come to a screeching halt and will be never be the same.

i was crushed to hear this news and from the bottom of my heart my thoughts and prayers will go out to him. He is a good guy who became a great dad.

another nice day here in the heart of the lakes area in MN. today my grandfather was cruising around in one of his old collector cars and stopped by my work. i took him out for lunch and it was good to get away and distance myself from work for an hour.

i am at home today and just spent most of the morning working remotely. my vacation days off i still end up working half of the day. but i am now going to go and load up my boat and spend the rest of the afternoon on the lake. so long suckas

Hello everyone. how are you? I am good. i worked last night from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM. pretty full day but very productive. the weather has finally turned to summer. tonight after work i will be kayaking down the Pelican river cleaning a 2 mile section of it. i think it was roughly this same event that tipped off my blog last year. well another week down. i am sleepy but not tired. i almost wish it was Thursday so i could get one more day of work done before the weekend. i would enjoy my time off more if i knew i didn't have so much work looming over my head. but nothing a Sapphire and Tonic wont cure. i talked to Moody today and in fact he didn't go to work again (seems to be taking Mondays and Fridays 0ff). he didn't have a migraine or and illness but couldn't stand to miss the save by the bell marathon on TV. i never got into the show myself but we all have our vices. most of mine unfortunately are illegal or unethical, and if i had my way save by the bell reruns would also be illegal.

i was editing, my poorly written post from earlier, and looking at some photos and came across a few from my 30th bday party last fall. the most noted feature is my 3 weeks of not shaving. Moody looks happy, my mom doesn't. and as always my jack ass friends were up for a good time. They spent the rest of the night being inappropriate and insulting to everyone there. which thankfully clears the place out.

It’s something my wife and I were discussing last night.

How the fuck is it that Osama Bin Laden is still walking around after all this time? Our Congress has the disposal of our military and our intelligence agencies but instead of directing them towards that effort, they have been tackling a much great threat. They have been going to all lengths to nab some harden criminals, guilty of the most unthinkable things, true terrorists. To their belts they can notch such heinous criminals such as Martha Stewart, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens. Congress should feel a real sense of pride. All this time Bin Laden is walking around with his dialysis machine at some Pakistani strip mall.

Well its raining again. my yard looks fantastic but i am ready for some nicer weather (is it nicer or more nice).

in other news, here at work we will be starting the interview process. at this point we have two sound applicants. One of them is a little more qualified and seems to be a sincere person but has an unusual obsession with his fish. we will see how that unique interviewee interviews.

Today is the big day of our annual meeting at work. We are a Electrical Cooperative, so for all 26,000 members who get service from us, this is their day to vote in new directors, see how the financials are...etc. we will have voter registrations and a PowerPoint (both of which i am responsible for) that our CEO, CFO and some speakers from our power suppler will be going over. its a very big deal around here. i was having some trouble the last few days getting the Database stuff taken care of. but its almost all ready and i will head over there in an hour and go over it again. should be a late night, but that is why i get paid the big bucks. i kind of wish i was semi stranded in my country home in Belize reading books and blogging. but i will deal with the hand that has been dealt to me.

i have been to busy the last couple of weeks to do much posting. so today i will go the easy route and post a couple of pics of my kids.

Sunday was fantastic out. i spent the entire day out in the yard or in the lake with the family. needless to say i got a little sun burnt but not to bad. Saturday i filled up the boat and stop putting gas in at $101.02. i am not sure how much gas fits in the boat but i wasn't going to put anymore in. but after driving it for the better part of two days though i still have almost a full tank.
